A 5k and 7K Fun Run benefiting Douglas County Search and Rescue
This event is organized by and for Douglas County Search and Rescue with all proceeds raised supporting the team. We are an all volunteer organization, we never charge for our services and rely on donations and fundraising.
A Fun run like you have (probably) never seen before! $2.00 from every entry fee will be ante’d into the pot. For every kilometer you complete you will receive a poker card, turn in your best 5 cards to qualify for awards. Best poker hand wins the pot up to $400.00. The more participants, the bigger the pot, tell your friends! Ties will be split between winners.
(Members of DCSAR and their families are not eligible for awards)

7:00-8:00 Packet pick up and on site registration
8:00 Run starts- 5K and 7K
10:00 Prizes awarded
(participants do not need to be present to win)
Parking- There is limited parking at the Bluffs Regional Park parking lot. There will be free parking available at the Lone Tree Arts Center parking lot and a free shuttle to the race start from 7:00-8:00 AM.
Note: there is no shuttle after the run.

IS A NON-PROFIT, ALL VOLUNTEER TEAM DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SEARCH, RESCUE, EMERGENCY RESPONSE, AND OUTDOOR SAFETY EDUCATION TO THE CITIZENS OF DOUGLAS COUNTY, COLORADO. THE TEAM ALSO RESPONDS TO REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE FROM OTHER SEARCH AND RESCUE (SAR) TEAMS IN COLORADO AND AROUND THE UNITED STATES.
